11:57 am - Pearl's death was swift but the process was and remains a painful agony for Michele; she struggled when the vet tech tried to place the IV catheter into her right hand but without success as her vein was "too flat". She struggled the 2nd time and pee'd when the catheter was placed into her left hand. When they pumped some saline through (part of the procedure to make sure the vein is not blocked), Pearl jerked and panted with her mouth wide open!!!
